128th Boston Marathon

Hello friends!
As many of you may already know, I am on an incredible journey to become a coveted World Marathon Major Six-Star Finisher. It's a goal that fills me with immense passion and determination. At present, there are only 12,212 finishers worldwide* and 57 in the state of Georgia** who have achieved this milestone.
I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed five out of the six World Marathon Majors: Chicago 2021, New York 2021, Berlin 2022, Tokyo 2023, and London 2023. Now, with just the iconic Boston Marathon 2024 remaining, I am inching closer to achieving this extraordinary accomplishment.
Passion drives my commitment to making a positive impact, and this marathon provides a wonderful platform to merge my love for running with a purpose-driven mission. It gives me great pleasure to share that I'm participating in support of a very worthy cause – The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation. This center, located at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, is dedicated to making a profound difference for trauma patients and their families worldwide. It accomplishes this by transforming research and care for both civilians and military personnel who have endured devastating traumatic injuries. The center's core efforts focus on trauma innovation, as well as injury prevention and intervention.
Trauma research and care remains an under-represented and underfunded medical field. The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation is committed to filling this gap by:

You have helped me on my path to achieve a personal dream but also make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need by helping the center turn tragedy into hope for civilians and military heroes worldwide who have suffered devastating traumatic injuries. It's a true honor to be a member of the Brigham Stepping Strong Marathon Team, and I'm excited to champion this special cause.

- Educating the next generation of medical leaders

- Improving injury prevention and empowering the public to act as first responders in life-threatening emergencies
- Connecting like-minded researchers and clinicians from diverse specialties such as bioengineering, emergency medicine, plastic surgery, orthopaedics, and injury prevention
- Building global awareness about the center’s mission to transform care for civilians and military heroes who endure traumatic injuries and events.
